Description

Ludochip is an independent game studio that makes crunchy bite-sized games. We put together games with interesting and different mechanics that are not just refreshing to experience, but are at the same time accessible and easy to relate to.

History

Before Ludochip

Bruce had been working in the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab, where he helped developed the game CarneyVale:Showtime, the Microsoft Dream Build Play 2008 Winner as well as the IGF Finalist 2009 for the Seamus McNally Grand Prize and the PAX 10 in 2009. Justin had been doing his own indie games such as The Jeluvian Project which was featured in PC Gamer 2007. He also worked on Symon, the DICE 2011 IGC Best Browser Game Award Winner

First game: Cubetractor

Cubetractor was first conceived in Justin's mind but communicated to Bruce on a napkin in a Bubble Tea shop at Holland Village, Singapore around December 2011. They wanted to break away from the conventional game genres such as platforming, beat'em ups or tower defence. The game was submitted to the Independent Games Festival China 2012 where it won the Best Game Award. Following that, we managed to get it released on Steam at the end of May 2013.
